Cricket Game Rules
Team & Playing Rules
- Each match will be played with 11 players on the field.
- All players must be part of the registered squad.
- Substitutions are allowed only with organizer approval.
Match Format
- League matches will be played as per the published schedule.
- Top teams will qualify for the Playoffs.
- League Matches: To be announced, expected 10–12 overs.
- Playoffs: 12 overs per side.
- Semi-finals: 15 overs per side.
- Final: 15 overs per side.
Batting Rules
- Each team bats for the allotted overs or until all players are out.
- Standard cricket rules apply for runs, boundaries, and strike rotation.
- Free hit may apply for no-balls as per tournament rules.
Bowling Rules
- Bowlers must deliver fair deliveries with no overstepping of the front line.
- No-ball will be awarded for overstepping or illegal action.
- Wide balls will be penalized as per standard rules.
- Maximum overs per bowler may be restricted and announced before the match.
Fielding & Result Rules
- Standard dismissals apply: bowled, caught, run-out and LBW if applicable.
- Clean catches must be taken without touching the ground.
- Team with the highest runs wins.
- In case of a tie, Super Over or tie-breaker will be used as decided by organizers.
Roster & Match Management
- All roster changes must be locked at least 1 day prior to the team’s first match.
- No roster changes will be allowed on the day of the first match.
- MKM may use CricClubs.com for tournament management, scheduling, real-time scoring and match updates.
Attendance, Waiver & Conduct
- Teams must report on time for their matches.
- If a team does not arrive within 10–15 minutes of scheduled match time, the team may be required to play with one less player.
- All participants must sign waiver forms provided by MKM and the sports facility.
- No refunds will be provided once registration is completed.
- Umpire and organizer decisions will be final.
- Any misconduct or unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to disqualification.
Final schedule, detailed rules, match duration, overs, roster decisions and disputes will be finalized by MKM Sports Coordinators.
Team Formation & Player Auction
Team Formation Rules
- Each team will have a designated Team Owner.
- Each team will consist of 13 players.
- Team Owners can pre-select / retain 6 players.
- Remaining 7 players must be selected through the auction.
- Each Team Owner will receive 5000 MKM Coins.
- Owners must manage their budget strategically while bidding.
Player Auction & Categorization
- Player auction will be held 4 weeks prior to the tournament.
- All registered players will be included in the auction pool except retained players.
- Players must submit CricClubs statistics during registration.
- Players will be categorized into A / B / C tiers based on performance.
- Categorization ensures fair and competitive bidding.
