Tournament Format

• Each team is guaranteed at least 2 matches, regardless of win or loss
• Teams that win will advance to the next round (knockout stage)
• Final format (groups/knockout structure) will be decided based on total registrations

Indoor Box Cricket Game Rules

Team Composition

• Each team must have 6 players
• All players must be registered before the match

Match Format

• Each match will be 6 overs per side
• Quick match format to ensure maximum participation

Batting Rules

• Every team bats for 6 overs or until all players are out
• If 5 players are out, the last player can continue batting alone
• Runs can be scored through boundaries, running between wickets, and rebounds (as per venue rules)

Bowling Rules

• Bowlers must deliver the ball with proper foot contact (no lifting of feet while bowling). If the bowler’s feet are lifted, it will be called a No Ball

Dismissal Rules

• Direct hit on any side of the fence/wall → OUT
• One-tappa catch (one bounce catch) → OUT
• Standard dismissals like bowled, caught, and run-out may apply

General Gameplay Rules

• Players must be ready when their match is called
• Fair play and sportsmanship are mandatory
• Umpire/organizer decisions will be final

Roster & Match Management

• All changes in team rosters must be locked at least 1 day prior to the team’s first match
• No roster changes will be allowed on the day of the first match
• MKM will use CricClubs.com for Tournament management, Scheduling & Real-time scoring and match updates

Rules & Guidelines

• All participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respectful behavior throughout the event
• Participants must follow instructions provided by the MKM Sports Coordinators and volunteers
• Players must be present at the venue and ready when their match is called
• Any rude behavior, misconduct, or inappropriate language may lead to immediate disqualification
• No arguments, disputes, or conflicts will be tolerated during the tournament
• All decisions regarding rules, match outcomes, player replacement, and disputes will be final and made by MKM Sports Coordinators

Attendance Policy

• Teams must report on time for their matches
• If a team does not arrive within 10 – 15 minutes of their scheduled match time, the team will be required to play with one less player

Registration, Waiver & Replacement Policy

• All participants must sign a waiver form provided by MKM and the sports facility
• The waiver will be shared before the event; participants must print, sign, and bring it on the day of the event
• No refunds will be provided once registration is completed
• Team/player substitution may be allowed only with organizer approval
• In case of absence, replacement may be assigned by the organizers
