Carrom Game Rules

• Each match will be played according to standard carrom rules
• Players must use only fingers to strike the striker (no pushing or lifting)
• The striker must be flicked from within the baseline
• Pocketing your assigned coins (white/black) is required to win the board
• The Queen (red coin) must be covered immediately by pocketing another coin
• Failure to cover the Queen will result in it being returned to the center
• If a player pockets the striker (foul), a penalty coin will be returned to the board
• Turns alternate between players unless a coin is successfully pocketed
• The board ends when all coins are pocketed or as per time/points format decided by organizers
• Final scoring format (points/knockout/league) will be decided by MKM Sports Team based on participation

General Rules & Guidelines

• All participants are expected to maintain sportsmanship and respectful behavior throughout the event
• Participants must follow instructions provided by the MKM Sports Coordinators and volunteers
• Players must be present at the venue and ready when their match is called
• Any rude behavior, misconduct, or inappropriate language may lead to immediate disqualification
• No arguments, disputes, or fights will be tolerated during the tournament
• All decisions regarding rules, match outcomes, player replacement, and disputes will be final and made by MKM Sports Coordinators

Attendance Policy

• Players must report on time for their matches
• If a participant does not arrive within 10–15 minutes of their scheduled match time, their spot may be given to another player

Registration, Waiver & Replacement Policy

• All participants must sign a waiver form provided by MKM and the sports facility
• The waiver will be shared before the event; participants must print, sign, and bring it on the day of the event
• No refunds will be provided once registration is completed
• Ticket transfer is allowed if you are unable to attend
• In case of absence, a replacement player may be assigned by the organizers
