Team Formation & Auction Rules

• Each team will have a designated Team Owner
• Each team will consist of 13 players
• Team Owners can pre-select (retain) 6 players
• The remaining 7 players must be selected through the auction
• Each Team Owner will receive a budget of 5000 MKM Coins
• Owners must manage their budget strategically while bidding

Player Auction & Categorization

• The player auction will be held 4 weeks prior to the tournament
• All registered players will be included in the auction pool (except retained players)
• Players must submit their CricClubs statistics during registration
• Players will be categorized (A / B / C tiers) based on performance
• Categorization ensures fair and competitive bidding

Tournament Format

• League matches will be played as per the schedule
• Top teams will qualify for the Playoffs

Match Format

• League Matches: (to be announced / e.g., 10–12 overs)
• Playoffs: 12 overs per side
• Semi-finals: 15 overs per side
• Final: 15 overs per side

Cricket Game Rules

Team & Playing Rules

• Each match will be played with 11 players on the field
• Substitutions allowed only with organizer approval
• All players must be part of the registered squad

Batting Rules

• Each team bats for the allotted overs or until all players are out
• Standard cricket rules apply for runs, boundaries, and strike rotation
• Free hit may apply for no-balls (as per tournament rules)

Bowling Rules

• Bowlers must deliver fair deliveries (no overstepping front line)
• No-ball will be awarded for overstepping or illegal action
• Wide balls will be penalized as per standard rules
• Maximum overs per bowler may be restricted (to be announced)

Fielding Rules

• Standard dismissals apply: bowled, caught, run-out, LBW (if applicable)
• Clean catches must be taken without touching the ground
• Fielders must maintain fair play and safety

Match Result Rules

• Team with highest runs wins
• In case of tie → Super Over / Tie-breaker (as decided by organizers)

Roster & Match Management

• All changes in team rosters must be locked at least 1 day prior to the team’s first match
• No roster changes will be allowed on the day of the first match
• MKM will use CricClubs.com for Tournament management, Scheduling & Real-time scoring and match updates

Attendance Policy

• Teams must report on time for their matches
• If a team does not arrive within 10–15 minutes of their scheduled match time, the team will be required to play with one less player

Registration, Waiver & Replacement Policy

• All participants must sign a waiver form provided by MKM and the sports facility
• The waiver will be shared before the event; participants must print, sign, and bring it on the day of the event
• No refunds will be provided once registration is completed
• Team/player substitution may be allowed only with organizer approval
• In case of absence, replacement may be assigned by the organizers

Important Notes

• Players must be ready before match start time
• Umpire’s decision will be final
• Any misconduct or unsportsmanlike behavior may lead to disqualification
• Match schedule and detailed rules will be shared prior to the tournament
• MKM Sports Team reserves the right to make final decisions in case of any disputes
• Players are expected to maintain sportsmanship and fair play at all times
